Nestled in the heart of Truckee, our charming cabin offers the perfect alpine escape. Access the beach, lake, and local pub through our private backyard trail. Cozy up by the grand stone fireplace, take in lake views, or stargaze from the deck. With a pro-grade billiards table, private hot tub, and quick access to Sugar Bowl, your mountain adventure awaits.

We have 5 bedrooms and 9 beds across three levels:

⬆️ Upstairs:
🛏️ Bedroom 1: Cal King w/ private bathroom
🛏️ Bedroom 2: Cal King + Queen w/ private bathroom
🛏️ Bedroom 3: Cal King
➡️ Ground Floor:
🛏️ Bedroom 4: Cal King (with the biggest closet!)
⬇️ Basement Floor:
🛏️ Bedroom 5: 4 Twin beds (2 bunk beds)

Upstairs bathroom:
Please note that the upstairs bathroom layouts are very open. You'll have a view of the open ceiling water closet in the loft suite.

❄️🚗 Snow Season Notes (Please Read!)
During winter, a snow berm may form at the entrance.
🛠️❄️If this happens, grab a shovel from the garage to clear the berm so you can access our sloped driveway.
Our driveway is plowed by professionals, but same-day storms may make it unreachable before your arrival—this is part of the true Sierra Nevada experience!

🚙🔗 If you have a 2WD vehicle, please bring chains.

🐻🚫 Local Truckee Tip:
Never leave food or scented items (including pet food) in your car—it’s a local safety standard. A friendly reminder for your stay!

🔕🌙 Quiet Hours & Hot Tub Use:
In line with Truckee regulations:
🤫 Quiet hours: 9:30 PM – 7 AM
🛁 Hot tub use not allowed after 9:30 PM
We appreciate your help keeping the neighborhood peaceful.

🐕❌ Pets:
No pets allowed on the property.
But good news—there’s a great pet lodge just 10 minutes away!

👶🧸 Traveling With Kids?
Guest count does not include children under 13. Kindly inform us via messaging if you'll be accompanied by children in this age group.
Pack & Play crib available — please request 3 days before check-in.

🌿👨‍🌾 Gardener Notice:
Our gardener does not follow a strict schedule and may stop by to tend the grounds as needed. Thank you for understanding and appreciating our green spaces!

🏠📢House Rules:
- ✍️🪪 We do not allow bookings made by guests under 25.
- ✍️👨‍👩‍👦ALL guests must sign a rental agreement and provide a copy of government ID prior to check-in.
- 💳💸For NON-Airbnb bookings, a credit card hold is required as a deposit. This is automatically released after your stay, provided no damages occur.
- 🤔😁Early check-ins (before 4 PM) require host approval. A confirmed booking does not guarantee early access — please message us to check availability.
- 📞📠We’ll call to verify your reservation before check-in. We do not accept Google Voice or service phone numbers, and reserve the right to cancel if this is the case.
